When you call this number, you get me. I'm the one who comes to the house, and I'm the one who does the work.

What I work on

Phones, laptops, and the appliances nobody else will open.

Most shops pick a lane. I never did, mostly because people kept asking. If it has a circuit board in it, bring it up and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help.

Board-level repair

Here's where most people get told to buy a new one.

A control board goes out, and the tech who shows up quotes you a replacement board. Half the time that part isn't even made anymore, so the next sentence is "you're better off replacing the unit."

I open the board up instead. Usually it's one relay with welded contacts, or a capacitor that's bulged, or a connector that cooked itself. An hour of soldering against a thousand-dollar appliance.

Call me, or fill out the form with the code and the model number off the sticker. If I already know what's wrong, I'll say so on the phone and bring the part with me.

THEN

I come look at it

I read the codes, test the components, and write down what it'll cost before I touch anything. You'll never get a phone call from me halfway through with a bigger number.

It's fixed before I leave

Most of what I see gets handled on the first visit. When a part has to be ordered, you'll know the price and the day before I pull out of the driveway.
